Material of the Natural World, continued…

10 words to describe my object:
crevice, curve, growth, petal, swoop, fold, plane, smooth, weathered, earthen
,
My object is a “Chinese Laughing Buddha” or Budai, which technically does not apply to the type of Buddhism involved in the book, but in its own way, I think applies. He is not a representation of the Buddha, but a symbol of happiness in spite of having very little, and living a non-material life. I imagine Tsung Tsai as exactly this sort of person, and I think my object is an interesting intersection between the Buddha and Tsung Tsai.
